• HLSC 115 - MEDICAL TERMINOLOGY (3.0单位),
• MA 109 - HEALTH INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (1.0单位)
• MA 110 - MEDICAL OFFICE MICROCOMPUTER MANAGEMENT APPLICATIONS (1.0单位).

Courses are typically offered during the fall, spring, and summer sessions. 

Course Preparation: This 5-unit Occupational Skills Certificate can be completed in as little as one semester so that students may enter the workforce sooner. Due to the high demand for specialized entry-level skills in this field, there are many employment opportunities 可用. Students may return and complete the remaining courses needed to become a medical 助理..

Enrollment is limited to students who have completed the special application and who are randomly selected for enrollment into the program based on the limited number of seats 可用.  Selection of students is based on criteria approved by the Pasadena City College Administration and consistent with all State and Federal Regulations. 

An Occupational Skills Certificate is awarded upon completion of all required courses with a grade of C or better.
